Before a DNS zone is updated, BIND will be told to freeze it and thaw afterwards. This ensures that dynamic updates are preserved. Dovecot and Postfix per-IP SSL certificate setup can now be configured on a per-template basis. Redirects for / created using the UI are automatically adjusted to exclude Let’s Encrypt validation paths. Various bugfixes, script updates, typos, and minor UI improvements.

This release includes many translation updates, fixes for Let’s Encrypt support, UI cleanups, and most importantly a new major version of the Authentic theme.
Multiple remote MySQL servers can now be defined, and selected on a per-domain basis at virtual server creation time. This allows some or all domains to easily use different MySQL hosts. Support for rating scripts and viewing existing ratings has been removed, as this was a confusing and rarely-used feature. This mostly a bugfix release, including fixes to bugs found during the beta 5.99 release. The final pieces of Virtualmin 6, the installer, virtualmin-config package, and libraries, will be moved into place later today for a “soft launch” of Virtualmin 6 (it’ll be another day before the docs are fully updated to cover the new stuff).
